‘Utiel, 250 años a la luz de las velas’ (Utiel, 250 years by candlelight)
The event, one of the oldest of its kind in Spain, takes place from 7 to 9 June in the Valencian town of Utiel.
The town is lit with thousands of candles, especially on the night of 8 June with over 70 000 candles lit at at sunset in a beautiful and unique light show.
The programme of activities includes a craft market, exhibitions, concerts, dances, parades, talks, cultural visits, historical tours, gastronomy, wine tastings of the D.O. Utiel-Requena, fashion shows and sports demonstrations.
