Alicante Book Fair

The Fair, located at Alicante’s reconverted old bus station area called plaza Séneca, will be open until 7 April.

The motto of this year’s edition is ‘Mujeres de palabra’ (women of word).As the motto suggests the main aim this year is to give greater prominence and visibility to women in literature, in its different fields such as writing, editing or translation.

Thid is the first time the Fair takes place in Plaza Seneca and it has been done so purposefuly so as to mark a fresh start for this event, in which a ten institutions and bookshops exhibit their books.

Not only will some 200 authors be at the event to sign their books, but there will also be parallel activities for all ages such as storytelling, animated reading, competitions and a selection of entertaining workshops.

• Afternoons, from 17:00 to 21:00.
