Exhibition ‘Ídolos. Miradas Milenarias’ at the MARQ

Visit ‘Idolos. Miradas Milenarias’ from January 29 to July 5 at Alicante’s Archaeological Museum (MARQ).

The exhibition will occupy two rooms and the central corridor of the museum and include a collection of anthropomorphic figures known as ‘idols’, from some twenty museums in Spain and Portugal.

This is a collection of 226 pieces of genuine and schematic representations of the human body and face. These are of diverse nature and form that supposedly represent the great Mother Goddess of the East.
