Mark Pulido: ‘with the bilas’

Mark Pulido is a multifaceted artist, graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. In a trip to India he knows the sound of the bilas, flat bells of high vibratory frequency, with which he initiates a path of investigation, artistic, therapeutic and spiritual.

His concerts mainly seek to bring a transcendent experience to the listeners, beyond any acoustic concept or musical style. With the sound base of an instrument with special properties such as the bilas and being one of the few interpreters in the world, he investigates the fusion with other instruments of new sonority making audible sounds of nature between hypnotic melodies, different acoustic atmospheres and silent spaces to expand the limits of the known and the unknown.
