First ever ‘Feria de las Orquídeas’ (Orchid Fair) in Burjassot

The fair takes place from 22 to 24 March in the antiguo Mercado de Burjassot (Old Burjassot Market).

Orchids, know to be difficult to grow, are the stars of the event but visitors will be able to buy not only orchids but other plants too and enjoy talks, workshops and other activities on offer.

Saturday, March 23

• 10:00: Opening of the fair.
• From 10:00 to 21:00: Demonstration ‘Trabajo de bonsai’.
• 11:00: Talk ‘Las orquídeas del Parque Natural del Turia’.
• 12:00: Talk ‘Las plantas medicinales valencianas’.
• 14:00: End of the fair.
• 16:00: Opening of the fair.
• De 16:00 a 20:00: Workshop ‘Usos y aplicaciones de las plantas medicinales. Elaboración de cremas y aceites’.
• 21:00: End of the fair.

Sunday, March 24

• 10:00: Opening of the fair.
• 11:00: Talk ‘El virus del orquiadicto’.
• From 12:00 to 14:00: Workshop ‘El trasplante de orquídeas’.
• 14:00: End of the fair.
• 16:00: Opening of the fair.
