The ninth edition of this event takes place in the Valencian town of Riba-roja de Túria from 1 to 15 September.

The aim of the conference is to highlight the gastronomy of the municipality as well as to support local restaurants in the revival of the sector.

Four restaurants participate, with original menus made wil quality local produce at EUR 25. Interested? Book a slot in advance.

If you visit Riba-roja de Túria in Valencia this weekend (6 to 8 September) you just may be transported back to the Visigoth period. The town will ‘dress up’ for the occasion in an aim to promote this culture.

Visitors will find the themed market around Valencia’s old town, including recreations of some Visigoth trades.

Other entertainment such as workshops, food stalls, theatrical performances, dances and Visigoth music promise to make this market authentic, not to mention the Lords of Pla, Tebdemir and his wife Teodora, along with their soldiers and freedmen.

During these three days there will be guided visits to the Visigoth Museum of Pla de Nadal and to the Pla de Nadal archaeological site, one of the most important of the VII century in Europe.

This themed event, held in Valencia’s old town, takes place from 7 to 9 September.

See and learn about Visigoth trades, participate in the various workshops or games on offer. Try out different foods, watch the falcons perform and enjoy loads of outdoor activities, theatrical performances and live music. If you are lucky you might just bump into Lord Pla, Lord Tebdemir and his wife Teodora or their soldiers and freedmen.

During these three days the Visigoth museum ‘Pla de Nadal’ opens its doors for all and visitors may also go on theatrical tours of the ‘Pla de Nadall’ archaeological site, one of the most important VII century sites in Europe.
