To commemorate this date, Valencian Community cities fill their streets with activities and events.

In Valencia different events are also planned from October 1 to 9 such as local food tasting, guided tours, doors opening, concerts, processions, exhibitions, readings, music, dancing and Valencian songs, Moors and Christians, correfocs, fireworks and medieval market.
