Valencia’s ‘Vegan Fair’ (saturday)
On Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 October Valencia hosts its IV Vegan fair in ‘Las Naves’, a cultural centre.
The Fair features talks, conferences as well as film and documentary screenings, all aimed at raising awareness about the vegan alternative and animal welfare.
Among the huge assortment of activities on offer are concerts, competitions, storytelling or children’s cooking workshops. All of this, and more, along with a great selection of food stalls.
One of the highlights of the weekend, for the second year running, is the ‘Concurso Nacional de Tortilla Vegana de Patatas’ (National Vegan Spanish Tortilla Competition) on Sunday at 13.00.
This event is not only interesting, not only for vegans, but also for the curious who want to know more about the impact of food on our health, economy and the environment.
Entrance and activities are free of charge.
