Enter the world of wine at Bodegas BOCOPA and visit its wineries in Petrer (Alicante).

Find out where and how their quality still and sparkling wines are fermented. Let yourself be surprised by its impressive cellar with more than 1 000 oak barrels and relax in its exclusive showroom tasting its Mediterranean wines.

Choose from a variety of visits (some require a minimum quota):

• Tourist visit: includes a guided tour, the tasting of three wines and some snacks.
• Tourist visit plus: includes a guided visit, the tasting of five wines and a pork and cheese tapa.
• Gastronomic tour: includes a sightseeing tour and lunch at one of the local recommended restaurants.
• Visit “Mister Chef”: includes a guided tour and a tasting-pairing of 6 wines and a fusion of Alicante tapas and international cuisine (temporarily cancelled).
• Gourmet Premium” visit: includes a guided tour and a tasting-pairing of seven top quality wines with local typical products (temporarily cancelled).
• Wine tour: includes a guided tour and a tasting of eight wines led by an oenologist or sommelier (temporarily cancelled).

In addition, all visits include the gift of a jute (traditional straw) hat.

Get to know the town’s historical centre lit up by the light of the moon in a series of organised theatrical night visits.

Visits will take place on the Saturdays closest to the full moon at 22.00. During the tour some characters will tell us about their experiences, revealing different historical moments in Petrer.

The visits, free of charge are family friendly too and last around an hour and a half. Book your place at Petrer’s Tourist office or send a message to: facebook or instagram.

The festival takes place from 6 to 20 July in Petrer (Alicante) with over 29 top notch concerts.

Many of the concerts are free of charge such as the José Tomás Efímera or Adda Simfònica orchestras, Hopkinson Smith or Mercé y Tomatito.

There will also be exhibitions, conferences, competitions, master classes, an international guitar fair and many other activities.

From 15 to 17 February the streets and squares of the historic centre of Petrer will host the first edition of this event.

The fair will have a craft market with some 60 stalls and a number of modernist theme-related activities such as dances with extras, guided tours and exhibitions.

The youngest will be enterntained with various workshops and fair attractions such as a merry-go-round, big wheel and trampolines.
