‘Moorish King dances 2021’ in Agost

These festivities take place in Agost (Alicante) from 26 December to 1 January.
Enjoy these dances every day (except 31 December 31) at 5:30 pm. In these dances the ‘danseros’ (18 year old dancers) wear traditional costumes and dance in the town’s main square.
The ‘dolçaina i tabalet’ (traditional) music takes centre stage in this festival; its rhythm marking the beginning and end of each dance.
