Tribute to David Ferrer in Xabia

On Saturday 14 December, the town of Jávea (Xabia) in Alicante pay’s tribute to the town’s favourite son, tennis player David Ferrer.

After 19 years of career, David Ferrer has officially retired. At one point he was number 3 in the ATP ranking and one of the 10 best tennis players in the world for 7 seasons.

The tribute takes place on the Arenal beach at 12:30. This event takes place outdoor so that all the tennis fans and neighbours who have proudly followed Ferrer’s sporting exploits can participate.
