The IV Denia Jazz Festival starts on 2 August
The concerts, which will take place in the Jardines de Torrecremada, will take place from 2 to 23 August
During the first four Thursdays of August the performances of different jazz bands will be developed:
Programme
- August 2 Potato Head Jazz Band
- August 9 Le Dancing Pepa Swing Band
- August 16 Fabian Barraza Django’s Trio
- August 23 Enric Peidro Swingtet
The price of the concerts has remained affordable to make it popular to the general public. Advance tickets can be purchased at € 12 and, at the box office on the same days of the concert, at € 15.
As in previous editions, to fill the city with jazz atmosphere, the concerts will be complemented with music on the street, sessions of “Vermut & Jazz”, classes and exhibitions of Lindy Hop.
Street music
Days 2, 9, 16 and 23 of August, from 11 am to 8 pm, in C/ Campos (other locations to be determined).
“Vermouth & Jazz” Sessions
On August 2, 9, 16 and 23, from 1 pm to 2 pm, at Hotel Chamarel.
Price 6 € / Free presenting an entry for any festival concert until full capacity is reached.
Lindy Hop dance initiation classes
On August 23 at the Casa de Cultura (schedule to be determined)
Price € 5 / € 10 Advanced level. There will be free classes for the general public, which upon registration to the email festivaljazzdenia@gmail.com, present an entry of any festival concert.
Lindy Hop exhibition
After the classes, from 8:30 pm, there will be a Lindy Hop dance exhibition at the Jardines de Torrecremada.
