‘Fallas de Denia 2020’ (Cancelled)

‘Fallas’ are a festival characterised by gunpowder and fire, these take place in Denia (Alicante) from 14 to 19 March.
See the imposing Fallas monuments (made of cardboard and wood), traditionally themed with satirical jabs at current affairs, and experience the town’s festive atmosphere.
The main acts of the festival are the ‘plantá’ (placing of the monuments), the ‘mascletàs’ (firing of rockets and firecrackers) and the ‘cremà’ (burning of the falla monuments). However, visitors shouldn’t miss out on other festive acts such as firework displays, parades and flower offerings.
