Visit Orihuela’s Palm Grove, the second largest in Europe, with over 600 000 m² and almost 9 000 palm trees.

Visits around this palm grove,  declared a Site of Cultural Interest (BIC), take about 75 minutes and start at the town’s new Interpretation Centre.

Visits are organised in groups of 12 divided into two to comply with the recent e hygienic sanitary protocol decreed by the authorities. To guarantee a spot visitors must book in advance.

This summer discover the monumental city of Orihuela (Alicante) with a guided night tour. Orihuela awaits!

With these night tours discover the town’s Middle Age monuments hidden in its historic city within a network of narrow streets dotted with buildings of singular importance.

Visits take place every Friday and some Saturdays in July and August. Tours start at Orihuela’s Tourist Office at 20:30 and finish with a small tasting.

The Dramatized Walks (paseos teatralizadas) take place on Saturday 30 November and 7 December. They start at 19:00 at the Arco de Santo Domingo in Orihuela.

This initiative is for visitors to discover the old town, its traditions and monumental history of the city.

Your guides on these tours are a troubadour and other characters that will tell stories and anecdotes whilst walking you through some of the main buildings and monuments of Orihuela.

From Thursday 31 October to Sunday 3 November, residents and visitors are invited to visit Orihuela and taste the best tapas the town has to offer.

This is the seventh edition of this event gathering around twenty bars, restaurants, cafés and confectionery establishments offering tapas at unbeatable prices. Traditional tapas and gourmet tapas (with drinks) at EUR 2.5, confectionary items at EUR 1 (gin and tonic prices remain at the discretion of each establishment!).

The initiative aims to fill the streets of Orihuela with life, betting on quality cuisine and giving publicity to this town’s unique tourist attractions.

‘The Winter beach’ takes place every Sunday from 31 March to 9 June.

The event first takes place in the secluded La Caleta en Cabo Roigbeach, considered a family beach and selected due to its calm sea. In June, the Aguamarina and Cala Capitán beaches join the initiative too.

A total of 36 activities designed for all ages including aerobic activities such as yoga, body balance, aerobic, aquagym and zumba; or aquatic activities such as surf pad, canoeing, snorkeling and diving baptisms. Youngsters will also be entertained with workshops and games.

Opened in 2009, Vistabella Golf is a relatively new course, where 18-holes par 72 can we played and with more than 6 kilometres long.

Designed by Manuel Piñero (ex World Champion and Seve Ballesteros partner in Ryder Cup), who has combined over 30 years’ experience with knowlegde of the world’s greatest courses, and applied this know-how to Vistabella Golf.

Special mention must also made of the large and undulating greens, regarded as the most competitive and the most well tended in the area.

As well as the golf course, this sports complex also features a golf academy, paddle tennis courts, a bowling green and restaurant.

Real Club de Golf Campoamor has benn challenging experienced golfers since 1988, when the course was first opened.

Nestling in the natural beauty of the Dehesa de Campoamor landscape, between two valleys protected by small hills, this course enjoys its own special microclimate that makes it possible to play golf here at any time of the year.

With a 6.277 metres long and a par of 72, it is a well tended course whose strict standards of maintenance serve to further highlight the exuberant flora and fauna to be found along its length.
