The Christmas concert will take place on 15 December at 20:00 in the Auditorio de la Diputación de Alicante (ADDA).

This charity event, which over time has become a classic Christmas Eve event in Alicante, stands out for the exceptional quality of the performers and the Choir.

The profits from ticket sales will go to charity: Centro San Rafael and Aspanion, organisations that carry out great work helping people in need in Alicante – intellectual disability and childhood cancer. In addition, part of the profits will go to the young people who make up the Philharmonic Orchestra of the University of Alicante.

The Provincial Council of Alicante hosts this exhibition of the Alicante firm Hannibal Laguna, one of the most emblematic Spanish haute couture houses with the greatest international projection, with which it celebrates its 35th anniversary.

This is a unique and innovative occasion to recognize and promote the fashion sector, placing it as another element in the field of culture.

The exhibition includes large photographs, information panels, audiovisual pieces and 35 of the firm’s most iconic dresses, which have been worn by celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Demi Moore, Rocío Jurado or Garbiñe Muruguruza.

With the title “The legacy of the Qin and Han dynasties. The warriors of Xi’an” this international exhibition is presented to the public at the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ) from 28 March to 26 January 2024.

It is a new experience, guided by archaeological science, supported by an extraordinary collection of objects, many of them never before exhibited in Spain. A careful selection of more than 120 original pieces from nine Chinese museums and institutions, including nine sculptures of Xi’an warriors and an original terracotta horse.

The Xi’an Terracotta Army is one of the most dazzling archaeological discoveries of all time. Created more than 2000 years ago by order of China’s first emperor, the Xi’an warriors are recognised as the eighth Wonder of the World.

Alicante hosts this exhibition dedicated to the inventions of the Italian Renaissance genius, which can be visited from 20 July to 1 November at the Palacio Provincial of the Diputación de Alicante.

The exhibition, with free admission, makes some of his most significant inventions available to visitors with more than fifty pieces built from the sketches left by the artist in his codices. Many of them will be available for the public to try out to familiarize themselves with the basic principles of physics and engineering.

The proposal is completed with twenty reproductions of famous paintings by the artist, such as The Monna Lisa or The Last Supper; most of them in the original size and format.

On Friday, 17 June, at 23:00, the tenth edition of this event will be held on the façade of El Corte Inglés in Alicante, where light, gunpowder, sound and fire take center stage.

It is a pyromusical show lasting about ten minutes in which 40,000 grams of gunpowder will be fired and which will come with a sound load of 60,000 watts distributed at various points and with moving heads of 30,000 watts of lighting, ensuring that around from the Plaza de la Estrella the show is homogeneous and experienced in the same way for all attendees.

It is the most complete exhibition to be held outside Italy of this multidisciplinary artist, especially known for being one of the most important figures in design and visual communication in the 20th century.

Bruno Munari sought the essence of art and design, always using play, humour and irony.

The selection ranges from his early works linked to futurism and graphic design to his latest experiments in the 1990s and includes paintings, drawings, sculptures, projections, light games, graphic and industrial design pieces, typographic exercises, writings and children’s books, among other works.
